Transparency in Thai as the same meaning as for the rest of the world, Transparency for the Junta however means , you can look but your not allowed to see......

I watched a typical Guy Ritchie movie last night, called "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" and it was a sort of a "Boys own" type movie (after the comic) and was supposedly loosely based on a true incident from WW11. Enjoyable enough if you switched your brain off and were prepared to watch enjoyable nonsense. The night before I also watched the original "Blade Runner", starring Harrison Ford amongst others and although I had seen it before, this time for some reason I was enthralled by the movie sets, which IMO were absolutely brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are still good friends and he has silly money so I was along for the ride and didn't pay for anything. Maybe that was the real issue. I like to do my own thing and I like much more real adventures that aren't so contrived. Hard to set the agenda if he is paying the bill. I learned from that trip and told him our next trip I will be paying my way and we won't be staying in $600 a night places.
