Public trust? When did that become an issue? There has never appeared to be any concern regarding public trust in the past.

In all the pictures published so far, there hasn't been a single one where he's looking to check the time. I can only guess this is because he's been unable to locate the six hour clock mode. 

His explanation is 'I have the power and you don't.'  Not so hard to understand.
