I have read a recent post that officials at Savannakhet wanted to see a copy of a Kor ror 2 document before issuing a non immigrant o visa based on marriage to a Thai. I have never been asked for this document on 4 or 5 previous trips to the consulate there. My questions are:   1. What does a kor ror 2 look like? I cannot find one from my marriage 12 years ago. Can someone upload an example please? 2. Can anyone confirm that this is now a required document? 3. If I cannot find the original, can I get another one? Thanks in advance.

1. It's the 2 documents that you/wife signed & the witnesses

2. Never needed one

3. I would say from Amphor where you registered your Marriage

If you have your original marriage certificate they do not ask for a Kor Ror 2 marriage registry.

You may of not gotten the Kor Ror 2 when you registered you marriage.

The Kor Ror 2 is 2 or 3 pages long. I have a copy of one but it would be a lot of trouble to redact all the personal info on it.

If you want one you can get a printout of it at any Amphoe for a fee of 20 baht. All your wife would need to get it is her ID card and a completed request form to get it.

Thanks. I have the original certificate. If I want to get this document, can I get it myself with a copy of the mrs's id card and without her with me?

You would need your passport and your marriage certificate to get one yourself.

My wife gets a new updated one every year before I apply for my extension of stay based upon marriage. Never gotten one myself.
