Hi. I will shortly be submitting my first application for an extension of stay based on retirement. (non-imm O-A long stay visa) If anybody has previously done this at Amnat Charoen immigration, I would appreciate answers to the following 3 questions:

1. Do they require a medical certificate?

2. Must bank letter and statements be dated the same day as the application? and

3. How many days prior to expiry of permission to stay will they accept the application?

Thank you for any responses.

I dealt with them twice in 2014 and 2015.

1. Yes.

2. I don't know. I did the whole process in one day.both times.

3. I don't know, but I never left it until the last day. I believe it to be 30 days.

I did my extension yesterday without a medical certificate.
My letter from the embassy regarding the 65000baht per month was 2 months old.
Last year I did my extension 2 weeks prior to expiry.
