Unless the visa is specifically "only available" in your home country (METV, Non-O-A), the eVisa system should allow you to apply somewhere else where you are at the time - just not while in Thailand. -

Is fried street food healthy?" If you didn't want any commentary to go with it, explaining why so, or what to do or don't eat or do, along with consequence of eating, then next post and poll, you might just add ... ... just answer "yes or no" and move along. Don't worry, I'll avoid your future post, as not wanting to give anyone an opinion, or information that might be helpful. Strange how that happens in discussions on forums. -

You shouldn’t really be asking this question. No one is safe with anything real in all of Thailand. You could get badly hurt. When I’m traveling generally I leave my jewelry in the bank. You wouldn’t be safe in Cannes or Nice either if it comes to that! As for bars, that would be the first thing a girl would see, not you. -

OK, this is my first post on this thread. I hadn't ther time to read through it before. There has been a lot of comment about Thai's believing in their 'superiority' - though the notion has been declared inexplicable and wrong. I think I can explain it. I've often read and been reminded that Thailand is the only Asian nation that has never been defeated and colonised, and whose culture and monarchy has been preserved through thick and thin over the centuries. I guess that counts for something, and makes Thais feel justified in feeling superior relative to those other local nations. I think that makes some sense.
