Rimmer Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 13 hurt in van, truck collision PATTAYA:--Thirteen people were injured when an employee-shuttle van collided with a pickup truck in Huay Yai. The driver of the Toyota van had to be cut from the smashed vehicle on Baan Pusai-Pluak Daeng Road Feb. 23. The other 12 people, including the driver of the truck, were waiting for first aid when paramedics arrived. They were transported to Banglamung Hospital and Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. The shuttle was on the way to a factory in the Pluak Daeng Industrial Estate in Rayong where it crashed nearly head-on with the pickup going around a bend. manicmike68 Posted March 4, 2018 Share Posted March 4, 2018 The passenger vans are required to have GPS installed but these employee shuttle vans are not required to have GPS. That law needs to change.
