rooster59
Thai snooker ace makes ranking semi-final for first time in his career Thai snooker player Noppon Saengkham entered a ranking snooker semi-final for the first time in his career last night at the Welsh Open in Cardiff. Noppon will play Barry Hawkins of England in tonight's semi starting at 8pm Thai time. Last night Noppon beat England's Ian Burns 5-3 to secure his spot in the last four. Earlier in the tournament Noppon had beaten one of the world's best in Judd Trump and whitewashed Kyren Wilson. Should Noppon make the final on Sunday he will be up against Gary Wilson or one of the best players of all time in Scotland's John Higgins. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2018-03-
South
Best of luck to him, there is some stiff competition out there. Remember James Wattana when he also had his five minutes.
Popular Post patekatek
Having lived in the U.S. where snooker isn't played very much, I've come to enjoy and appreciate the skill necessary to be successful in this sport. Now, having a Thai moving towards the top tier, it's like having a hometown hero to cheer for. I wish Nappon the best of luck and hope he takes the top spot.

Geoffbrit
Very happy that he did so well at the Welsh Open in my hometown, Cardiff. Plenty of snooker on TV ,here in Thailand so hopefully the game will become more popular
champers
The Thai and Chinese players will probably dominate the sport in years to come. The quickfire short matches suit these players best now. Learning to maintain concentration and form over longer matches is the key. I believe the Thais and Chinese spend a lot of time at the national snooker academy in Sheffield in England. James Wattana acts as mentor/coach. I admire their dedication and hope it pays off.
