Change from marriage extension to retirement extension

Featured Replies

I've been living in Thailand on annual extensions based on marriage for the last few years.  About the only reason I've done that is to keep my options open for working.
At this point I no long plan to work, so I'd rather simply go to a retirement visa and bypass the paperwork shuffle plus the month long wait for the application to be approved prior to being able to obtain the visa stamp that marriage extensions require.

Exactly what paperwork will I need to make this change.  Here's my guess:

TM7 (most recent version) requesting an extension base on retirement in duplicate with two 4x6 cm  photos
Passport
Copies of all pages in the passport in duplicate
Bank book showing 800K THB that is 'seasoned' for three months updated the day of application -- (I'm not doing an income letter)
Letter from the bank verifying amount in the bank account the day of application (original plus a copy)

I'm thinking that should be it.  I'm I missing anything?  Oh, and I'll take my wife with me so she can officially 'bless' the change in front of the immigration officer.
I'm in the CM immigration division (Division 5) but will be reporting to the Lamphun office where I live.  I'd appreciate any relevant information.  Thanks!

1 photo is enough and the wife do not have to give any approval but merely confirm that you stay with her maybe..

Same as you supplied for the marriage extension, minus;

The photos.

Kor Ror 3

Kor Ror 2.

Wife's Tabien Baan and ID card (unless your using them as proof of address).

Only one TM7 form.

Only one copy of documents.
