I have a govern pension and pension of my former work. What kind of documents I need to prove my income for a retirement visa (NON-O)?

Based on what you write, you are in your home country applying for a Non Immigrant O VISA and need to prove your income.... I suggest that you ask the thai embassy in your home country because it is different from embassy to embassy....

OR are you in fact looking for to apply for an extension of stay (NOT A VISA) here in Thailand?????

To apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement you would need a proof of income document from your embassy here to prove 65k baht income.

To apply for a NON-OA long stay visa at a Thai embassy or official consulate in your home country or country of legal resident. You would provide proof of your pension when applying for the visa. A OA visa allows unlimited one year entries for a year from the date of issue.

Are you talking about getting a visa in your home country, neighboring country or do you actually want to have a one year extension of stay at immigration within Thailand?

I still find this odd that the US embassy in BKK asks for nothing.

Someone told me while you are waiting, they do some sort of credit or IRS check on you to confirm you are not lying.

Not sure, but their policy is pretty liberal it seems just raise your hand a swear you are telling the truth.

They cannot do any checks to or confirm anything. Doing it is a violation of the law/regulations for US consular sections. That is why only an affidavit can be done. Swearing a false oath in front of consular officer is also a violation of the law.
