British passport price's to go up.

Featured Replies

"Fees will go up across the board, but the increases will be less steep for those applying on the internet in a bid to encourage people to use this route."

So when are HMPO going to make the internet route available to those of us renewing our passports from Thailand, then?

It's £12.50 extra for a postal application in the UK, not £1250!

Not relevant to applications submitted from Los.

At first glance there appears no relevance to applications made in los.

So long as we remain stuck with the antediluvian procedures which HMPO foisted on us 4 years ago, I fear that you are probably correct.

'This whopping increase will hit families badly and could see some families being forced to cancel their summer holiday plans as the costs become too high,' Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott said, according to the Mirror.   Is £50 for a family of 4 a 'whopping increase'? But will it be like the Visitors Visa application where you fill in umpteen pages online, then have to print them out, single sided?,  and take them to VFS. Just applied for my GFs 4th UK visa..............have her fingerprints and photo changed in 4 years? A load of b0110cks
