90 Day Non Immigrant O Single Entry Visa Re-Entry Permit Query

Hi all , 

l have just returned from Penang to-day with a 90 day Non Immigrant O Single Entry Visa ,  l now need to travel to Australia in mid April and return May 1st,

just need a nod as to my understanding of the Re-Entry Permit and the TM6 Arrival card  .l will report to the Immigration Office tommorrow and while there l will apply for the Re-Entry Permit , as l understand it this will protect my Non O Visa , And in regards to the TM6 Arrival card when l return what should l write down

in the" Type of Visa" box ? and in the intended period of stay box should l just put the remaining days left of the on my Non O Visa ?,

If you arrived today, March 8th, you’ll have permission to stay until June 5th. When you use you re-entry permit to re-enter on May 1st, put the re-entry permit number in the visa section on the TM.6 and the IO will stamp you in until June 5th.

depending on your local office you may be required to summit a tm30 form.
