Does anyone know if one can use the money from a usd thai bank account to renew an extension based on retirement at Jomtien?

 

Yes, as long the money is in a Thai account, and immediately accessible, a foreign currency account should be accepted.

I was just wondering if it is still possible. I used to always use my usd account when renewing my extension of stay. Then about 4 years ago I was told at Chaeng Wattana that they would no longer accept proof from my usd account and that I had to show it in my thai baht account.
