I found some article online that talked about the elephants in Asia. Since I was a child, I’ve always wanted to see elephants in person but I never had the actual chance. After reading that article, I was inspired to volunteer for elephant baths. Basically, we help shelters give these animals a good bath. My problem is that the article did not mention anything about the volunteer procedure. I don’t know what to do. If anyone knows something, please help. I’m going to Thailand this year for a dating holiday tour that I’m also attending. I really want this side trip to happen. Thanks ahead!

can I help you here. If you truly love animals you will have nothing to do with any animal exploitation such as elephant parks etc.

You go to the big ones in chiang mai, you will see those animals chained up every minute of the day, or walking with tourists attached by wooden chair or sitting on back, again every working day.

avoid animal exploitation

visit khao yai or other jungles and be patient, you will se.

those elephants are exploited, they are held prisoner.

I see... so there're no places that shelters animals as such? they're mostly for exploit in Thailand?

As Lancashirelad has pointed out, The Elephant Nature Park.

Elephants rescued from exploitation, no riding, no chains.

Would rank my visit there as one the most memorable experiences  I've ever had.
