Italian-Thai Development president Premchai Karnasuta and his driver turned themselves in to the police at the Central Investigation Bureau’s Counter Corruption Police Division (CCPD) on Tuesday morning (March 20) to acknowledge bribery charge.

Mr Premchai and his driver Yong Dodkrua were accompanied by their lawyer to hear the charge after both were accused by the Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary chief of offering bribes in exchange for releasing them over the alleged poaching.

Mr Premchai and Yong denied the charge while the lawyer said he would defend them in  the court. CCPD commissioner Pol Maj-Gen Kamol Rienracha said the suspects were released after acknowledging the charge.

The problem with this case is that even if he is convicted he will just go to a higher court and in the meanwhile is out on bail. This could last for a decade.

I'm waiting for the discovery of a grassy knoll in the park and CCTV of a bloke with a black umbrella.

Yea he is not getting any special treatment its just the way it works. One of the parts that I don't like here in Thailand all the rich HiSo always delay it all. Just look at the red and yellow guys who broke the law during the protests.. how many years is that back.. quite a few and still no real final cases.
