libya 115 Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 SOURCE: Pattaya City News: Jan 24th 2007 How the love of a Police Officer led an 18 year old woman to attempt suicide. A case now from the Pattaya Memorial Hospital who admitted Khun Orapai aged 18 in the early hours of Wednesday Morning in a very distressed state. The young woman had sustained six deep cuts to her arm and minor cuts to her forehead which she claims was an attempt to end her life. She explained to us that she was deeply in love with a Police Officer who works at Pattaya Police Station and she had seen him around Pattaya on various occasions. The two talked but never became intimate and on this night the two met and Khun Orapai’s advances were rejected by the Officer. In front of the Kimhun Apartments in Naklua, she began to cut herself as she screamed the name of the officer. She was detained by passers-by and prevented from harming herself further before she was taken to Hospital. The Officer told us that he had met the woman at a Police Checkpoint and the two would joke and sometimes flirt but nothing more happened. Any possibilities of a relationship were discounted when the Officer stated he is already happily married with a family. Have a look at the inside forearms of the girls next time you're out at the bars. You'll notice that about 10% of them have a row of scars.
