Since when has this court had jurisdiction outside the Kingdom?

It doesn't, they hope that he will now stay way and not come back, Thai way of dealing with foreigners who oppose the democratic rights of rogue firms.

With civil suits they can't force you back thru agreements with other nations. But they might seize any Thai bank accounts he has or any vehicles or condos.

If Andy is out of the country,...... he's one lucky man....... I would stay the hell away from there for life time........... so at least those Bastards from Natural fruits will never see their money, unless they have the guts to directly abduct Andy in disguise.........

10m is a lot for any regular person. Unless he's rich he'll have to bail.

No he won't because it's a civil law case.

He also won't have his passport taken from him and can come and go as much as he wants until after the verdict of the Supreme Court - another 10 years down the road via the Appeals Court.

It is a case from frying pan into fire for Andy Hall.

Poor old Blighty is starting to look worryingly like LOS, with its curbs on press freedom, police combing social media for so-called hate speech, plus the no-platforming by universities of guest speakers in case their views melt a few snowflakes.

These days, what you can say, do and even dare to think in one of the world's oldest democracies is circumscribed by an agenda of stifling political correctness, applied rigorously by guardians of multiculturalism and inclusiveness with the backing of a servile mass media and a seemingly supine electorate.

In such a climate, the bizarre is accepted as perfectly normal.  Examples are not hard to find.

Not long ago, the our government cheerfully sanctioned a tour of UK mosques by an extremist Islamic preacher whose inflammatory rhetoric had got him barred from Muslim Pakistan. In the last week they have shown the door to three young "right wing activists" with speaking engagements on the grounds that their presence was "not conducive to the public good".

You couldn't make it up.

If I were a human rights activist looking for a cause, I know where I would be right now. Andy, your country needs you.
