Work permit inquiry

Hi All,

 

I just secured a non-b visa and would like to know whats the next step for me to apply a work permit? I want to know the exact information so me and my employer won't have to go back and forth the labour ministry.

I have never seen a complete list of what is required since it depends upon the work permit office where the application is done and other considerations. Basic info is here in the WP1 application package.

You or your employer need to contact the labour office that will be issuing the work permit who will give you list of the documents they need to supply.

Thank you for your quick response. 

 

Documents that are in English is okay even though it is not translated in Thai right? I am not a teacher or working as instructor of an educational institution.

So you are saying now that I have to apply WP1 even though I have already the WP3? Since I have already secured my non-b.

 

Is WP1 and WP3 two different documents? And both are essential to get work permit? Thank you...

You asked about doing an application for a work permit. It seems one has already been done which means all you have  to do is go to the work permit office to get it issued. Your passport showing the non-b visa entry plus copies will be needed.

A WP3 application is done if the person getting the work permit is outside the country. A WP1 is done if a person is in the country.

Yes i have the non-b. I searched on Google and it says that I need the ff;

 

1. Clear Photo of the office and the address of the office location. 

2. 3x4cm Photograph. 

3. Medical Certificate.

 

Is this correct? Or no longer necessary?

1. Not sure that is needed. Your employer might of already submitted that with the application.

Add copies of every page of your passport.
