Has anyone recently done a Tourist Visa (permission to stay) 30 day extension at Jomtien?

 

What did they require? How many days before the visa expiration did you do it?

 

Unless staying in a hotel, guesthouse and etc that has done the report or your presence you will need a TM30 form to submit.

Copies of  passport photo page, visa. entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

You can do the extension about a week early.

 

Thank you. Last time they needed a copy of the TM 30 receipt and copy of a certain way of doing the TM 6, visa and permission to stay together.

Not sure what you mean. Normally  a copy of each one on separate sheets of paper.

 

I had a copy of each as usual. I think it was the lady in the green Room who issued me a receipt for the TM 30 and then told me to make a copy of it.

Then I was sent to the main room to give the officer the paper work and my passport. I believe it was then that she folded the TM 6 a certain way (unfortunately I did not make myself a copy) and told me to copy the TM 6, visa and permission to stay together.

 

First time I had been issued a receipt for the TM 30 (so first time I was told to make a copy of it) and first time they told me to make a copy of the TM 6, permission to stay and visa together and in a certain way.

 

So I was wondering if these things will happen again next time.
