Davef2912
Hello, a local school offered to employ me as consultant (?) including Non-Imm-B Visa and work-permit. For some reason that I don' t understand I was told that the stamp when I LEFT Thailand would be necessary for some document needed to apply for the B Visa. I have never heard of this and find it quite strange. The way it is expected from me right now is that I would leave the country, make a scan of the page in my passport with the stamp I got when I left Thailand, email it to the school BEFORE I get back into Thailand and then it would take around 1 week to get the dubious document... Has anyone ever heard or experienced this before?
blackcab
They are referring to the work permit approval letter. The way they school is doing it means you have to be outside of the country when they apply, hence the need to exit and to email them a scanned copy. They will collect the approval letter then (probably) send it to you so you can apply for a single entry non B visa.
