Alcohol removed Chardonnay

Featured Replies

Going to a party in Oz tomorrow and today saw a bottle of wine.

It said alcohol removed.

Then it said something like less than 0.05% which is similar to neutral fruit juices.

Safe for an alcoholic?

Chardonnay doesnt taste that good regardless. Not sure why you'd drink it. A mineral water with lime is surely better than crappy chardonnay.

A regular Aussie chardonnay is about 14% so by comparison 0.05% is as close to zero as makes no odds.

If you can drink the juices you mention then I would say it's perfectly safe, biggest danger will be those glasses that look and smell the same, but really are 14%
