Passport Photographed

Featured Replies

Hello

I recently re-entered the kingdom at Don Muang with a ME Non imm OA visa and something unusual happened , unusual at least in my experience. After stamping my passport, the IO photographed every page with her phone before handing it back and waving me through. No questions or comments, just photographed the passport and sent me on my way. Does this happen often or does anyone know if there could be some reason for photographing my passport?

I am assuming this must be routine due to the "no questions/comments" but with 7 or 8 entries into Thailand under my belt, it was a first for me.

Maybe to ask her supervisor what to do in similar circumstances

Are you still a young looking handsome man? ???

Wait for the knock on the door!!

Serious question how long did she stamp you in for?

Ok.

The photographing thing does seem strange though I agree.

Not sure if I would have asked about it or not.

If it happens to me I might be tempted to.
