AlphaCanadian
Last week I got a 60 day tourist visa issued in Malaysia. I am certain that I will need the 30 day extension when my 60 days is up (for a total of 90 days). No reason to wait on having this done. Can I go to the immigration office in Bangkok (where I am staying) and have the 30 day extension stamp at any time? I wonder if they will tell me at immigration that it is too soon to have this done. Thanks in advance.
KhunBENQ
I don't have personal experience, but from others posts it reads that is usually not accepted longer than a week before expiry of the current stay.
ubonjoe
Normally the extension cannot be done until the last 2 weeks of the 60 day entry.
