You can see a doctor without your passport. If you have one, show them a photocopy, or a dirver's license, otherwise just explain that your passport is at immigration.

Don't make a host of assumptions about what the doctor will say/do and use that as an excuse not to go.  It is not necessarily the case that you need an MRI.

My Professor consultant in the UK over the years did MRI's on my shoulder and knee to see what was going on. The photos made everything clear ans stuff was sorted.

I also had one done on my head, he said there is sod all we can do about that....5150.gif.10dff442b78a8e5616e5ead1621ae08c.gif

If it's the nerves in the back causing most of the pain , I suggest you buy some vitamin B6 and B12 tablets. You can buy them cheap at your local pharmacy .

A vitamin B cure can do wonders to your back pain , I had a problem with L2 (2nd Lumbar Vertebra)  in my back  , a doctor told me I should do a pinhole surgery to remove a fragment that caused nerve damage.

Instead I decided to wait and follow a strict diet and a strong dosage of vitamin B6 and 12. Within 6 months my pain had gone. It was really a miracle.

But your case can be completely different so first you should talk to a specialist .

But it doesn't hurt to try it.

What sort of doctors were these? Where? And how recently?

You can certainly have an MRI if you want, you can even get one on your own before seeing doctor and bring it with you. Will be cheaper than doing it at the hospital.

Here (Bang Na so convenient if coming by care from Pattaya)

http://www.mrithailand.com/index.php?modules=article&parent_id=2&id=9

If the pain is lower back then what you want is MRI of lower spine without contrast

Assuming the Xray was very recent bring it with you (to the doctor)

hello, those doctors were just standard doctors at standard hospitals,

like, the same doctor and hospital i would go to for any illness,

and it was 25+ years ago

for bangna, i already paid 27k to visa agency rather

than risking having to suffer a trip to bkk ministry of foreign affairs or god forbid, a trip to laos,

i pay anything not to have to walk,

i worry a lot about travel to bkk, if i could i would charter an ambulance to minimize pain

Do I understand you correctly?

You've had back for 25 years, & you alledge seeing a 'standard doctor',then but you're still in alot of pain, and everything it seems prevents you from consulting with another Doctor.

Are you hoping to obtain Codeine?

i have most likely tried that one too, i seem to recognize the name,

i remember one of them gave me horrible stomach pain.

i dont want any mediocre treatment, it does nothing.

I was on them for years but you have to take something like Lansprol to sort the stomach out whilst on them..

Strangely I have two ex wives that had lower back problems. They both were on pills for yonks, but then both went under the knife to sort stuff. One three times the other once...

With my problem my consultant and friend would be totally honest with me regarding pain relief, he pointed out that he could give me stuff that would be a great help but could kill, or stuff where if l drank booze it may do the same, so the happy medium was Diclofenac. My condition was non operable, only for repair..

I reckon a good stretching routine would help. Also try ginger. Or ginger wine. Stay away from strong painkillers. They only mask the problem.

Pain killers are exactly that, and thank heavens we have them, if we didn't l would have been bed ridden with my incurable disease...

My ex wife laid face down on the floor for near six months, the only position where relief from pain was reduced, but she needed pain killing pills to help out..

Without the pills there would have been constant tears..

Nembutal is not for pain relief. Take too much, & you will not wake up.

I really have no idea what you are trying to achieve in this thread.

this is plan B, at first it was a new wunderantiinflammation, now its somehow reaching the hospital in bkk with as little walk as possible

Of course transam. Pain killers are a great aid to people in pain. I took a slug in the army and suffered for years; painkillers were on the menu daily.

I reckon in this specific case (OP), normalising the back would be the priority. Stretching and natural stuff could help.

So you paid 27,000 to an agency

I certainly cant see anything stopping you from going to a good Doc/Specialist , & getting the full works to find the problem & sought the out come

I'm sure they could have one of those hospital transport companies that ferry patients around come & get you

between my shoulders came from carrying a piano and get stuck on a doorstep,

i think a piece of my spine got pushed inwards, and that in turn causes my ribs to dislocate from time to time. the bigger issue came later when i was lifting heavy during working, i was sort of bending forward and lift with my back rather than my legs since i was too exhausted to move my feet. i can only stand or walk for a few minutes a day, and these days i also get pain from sitting or laying down,

i can not escape the pain no matter how i do

If you are carrying a gut, get rid of it. Speaking from experience, I blew off my gut and realized after how much it had been affecting my back. And traditional Thai yoga can do wonders too. If you use turmeric as suggested above, mix it with black pepper which activates the turmeric. A super hot shower, as hot as you can take it in the pain area is of great help too. Good luck.

Well for sure that weight will be "pulling" on your lower back. Time to get your head in gear and get rid of it, every little helps...:stoner:

This medication is not available (legally) in Thailand and is not a treatment for back pain.  I wonder if you have been used to using Pentobarbital(Nembutal) obtained elsewhere?

Your posts are becoming more bizarre.

Why on earth would you take Nembutal?
