The Thai embassy website in the uk lists the requirements for non o based on retirement to include a police record check and a medical exam.For a non o based on marriage these are not listed,so is this a mistake on the website?Can someone who obtained a non o based on marriage from the uk confirm that they were not asked for these ps the website is known to contain errors

I think you are confusing the requirements for two very different visas. Police records etc are required for the long stay(retirement) O-A VISA.

    Not required for a non-o based upon marriage or for any other reason. Only a OA long stay visa requires the medical and police check.

    You only need your marriage certificate, copies or your wife's ID card and house book registry. The website does have an error on it where it states financial proof is needed for the non-o  based upon marriage.

    Must have misread it , you are correct.To be honest I thought the income requirements was strange at least I now know it’s wrong .In my case I’m going to get non o based on marriage but will have no income just savings so I’m now confident that it will all go smoothly
