His unlimited wisdom, his unendless genious, does not have enough trust in planes, so only travels per train... Means: Maybe Mongolia, but that will be about the limit..

Er... anyone want to bet that Thailand hasn't been asked?   Yet another idiotic pronouncement from General Rolex.   BTW, should he still be reporting to the NACC? Or have we decide

  • I'd suggest baby steps, start with something simple like promoting peace between a couple of technical colleges first.

Just woke up turned on my computer, looking at TVnearly choked on my coffee. Surely nobody would want Ole Fatty anywhere near a US  - North Korea summit. The man is just the same as his boss

This actually is not a joke.

Thailand has already been mentioned as one of a number of possible meeting locations.

It wouldn't be very surprising at all if the meeting is held here.

It kind of makes sense.

Thailand has this neutral vibe about it historically.

Singapore is possible as well which is interesting because they're in a serious balancing act now with their alliance to both China and the USA.

Please God, let it all be a joke. If this happened, the army piggies will be strutting around, all puffed up with imagined self-importance and completely unbearable.

What a show that would be, can you imagine Prawit and Prayuth together with Kim and Donald?

This quadruple bunch of clowns would constitute a “3-ring circus” plus one.

But a bigger concern to me is that the junta may teach Humpty Dumpty how to convert USA to an autocracy. Trump would be all ears.

Hosting a meeting doesn't mean direct involvement in such talks. Sure, there would be a ceremonial welcome and related P.R. stuff but Thailand would not be represented in the actual talks.

Yeah, but Prayuth will milk it for it's worth. He'll probably write a song about it... "Bringing happiness to the whole world..."  And Kim and Donald will probably give Prawit new watches.

I like that,  General Rolex, very funny. :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Songkran all over again - have to take to hiding in my home with enough supplies until it's over.

Has he announced what watch he will be wearing on the day ?

Hardly. But I suspect he'll be gone before the half-terms.

One can only hope.
