Bangkok Online Mapping Site?

Is there such a site for Bangkok? I can only find sites that have bitmaps images of bangkok maps. I need to find something like a mapquest, google maps (not google earth), mappy.com etc. etc. Something you can enter an address and it finds it, tells me streets, how to get there, etc.

or am i just dreaming?

not online - but you can buy them on CD from the bookshops.

I would imagine they won't be perfect because of the romanisation of thai names. Thai version of those CDs would be easier to use (for those who read thai).

This site won't give you everything you want, but I have found it helpful when, for instance, a hotel has advertised itself as being "right in the heart of the city", but all you have is their word for it and a street address: http://www.hot-maps.de/asia/thailand/bangkok/homeen.html

ThinkNet Mapmagic software http://www.thinknet.co.th/product-cd.html#CD_bkk for your PC. Can toggle between English and Thai on-the-fly. Highly recommended.

Not great address service, but pretty well-labelled roads in decent detail at multimap.com
