Quitting my job, getting married.

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I've lived in Thailand for the past 7 years, arrived on tourist visa, then ED and last 4 years on working visa with WP.

I plan to get married here but may not have enough time to get my paperwork sorted out by the time my current visa expires. My question is, would it be possible for me to get a tourist visa to buy me some time (preferably double entry) from Laos or Myanmar, or would Thai immigration make problems, as it is clear that I am not a tourist here.

Thank you.

I'm guessing you can find an easy solution.  (THB)

Good luck.

No problem to get a single entry tourist visa in Laos or any nearby embassy or consulate. Two entry tourist visas no longer exist.

No problem to enter the country after getting it.

That's good news, thank you. I'll try to avoid THB solution as I have to save for my wedding, but that's story for a different forum
