January 28, 200719 yr As stated in my last post my fiancée is going to Regent house tomorrow morning to submit an application for fiancée visa. Unfortunately, I will not be there so I would like to know what the procedure would be for her once she gets there. Am I correct in thinking that she hands in the paperwork and application? Pays the fee, she is then given a receipt with a tracking number on it and that is it she leaves and waits for them to call or is there more to it than that. Urgent reply needed here incase I have to inform her of anything we have missed. Thanks Edited January 28, 200719 yr by fracair
January 28, 200719 yr You've summed it up nicely. The visa application centre's function is to take in the applications and payment before forwarding everything to the embassy for consideration. Once considered, the finished article is sent back to the application centre from where you can collect your returned paperwork with, hopefully, the visa endorsed in the passport. If the embassy requires your fiancée to attend an interview, they should contact her to give her a time and a date. Scouse.
