Next step after Non-O

I am in the process of retiring here in Chiang Mai. I received my Non-O stamp on April 1,, and my 90 day report date is July 1. How soon before my July 1st date should I return to immigration to continue the process.  Thank you for your thoughts.

Is July 1st the date your 90 day entry from the visa ends? Check the entry/admitted until stamp you got. Ninety days is June 29th when counting from April 1st.

You can apply for the extension up to 45 days before your entry ends.

If using the money in the bank option having it in the bank for 60 day might affect the date you can apply.

Early June would be a good time to apply for the extension of stay. As it's your first extension the 90 day report should reset to day 1 on the day you apply for the extension, and the IO should give you a new report date.
