BANGKOK, 17th May 2018 (NNT) - A deputy prime minister has confirmed that the government is still planning to meet and discuss the political situation and outlook with representatives of all political parties although the schedule may be postponed.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said on Wednesday that the plan to invite representatives of political parties to a meeting in June is still planned and he is responsible for all preparations.

DPM Wissanu said that action will be taken once a signal from Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha is received.

He said that no date has been settled on yet and if most parties need more time, the government won't cancel the plan but will postpone the talks instead.

When asked what the government will do if the Pheu Thai Party and the Democrat Party decide not to join the talks, the DPM said that the government will still be able to discuss all issues with 60 smaller groups or 30 medium-sized parties.

Postponed until after the election when they will be told to get back in their respective holes and disappear and shut up.......or else.

Meanwhile, the government will be holding attitude adjustment meetings with selected party leaders before then so the momentum won't be lost.
