Play Station 3

Featured Replies

Can any one let me know the cost of the new play station 3 in thailand It will cost about £400 in the UK . and also If it is onsale in Pattaya or Khon Kean I will be visiting in March

Don't forget that if you buy a PS3 here then you will not be able to play any UK Blu-Ray movies

The PS3s sold here are all Japanese and will only play US & Japanese movies

All the games will work fine though as PS3 games are not region coded (wish 360 was the same!)

why not get a xbox 360 its less and xbox live is asome plus you did not pay 600 mark up for a blue ray player thats prety much ware the cost is and need i say that when i rip some my ps3 games thay all fit on dvd9 its all movies and the ps3 can play hd dvd blanks and the loader will be out when the relese of ps3 hits ero even so i say save yore money get a 360 and like spend the 300 on games

Well put.

The Xbox 360 has been chipped already by those nice chaps at Saphan Lek. Why buy a PS3 when it'll be another 12 months before it's been chipped? Get the 360, a HDTV, and have some fun - and save yourself a fortune on the software!!!!!!!!

just out of interest how much is the xbox360 chipped over here (Thailand) and where is the best place to pick one up? was holding out for the PS3 but might dabble with the 360
