KFC Locations in old town or near train station

Featured Replies

An odd inquiry I suppose, however I intend to go to BKK on the train and wanted to take my own eats, since train food usually sucks. Will be using taxis and would be helpful to hit one in route to the station. I live in Phayao, so know only a little about CM. I do know of one in a Tesco Lotus out on the northern loop (hwy 11)...have used it once, but looking for one more on the way to train station or even near or around Arcade bus station. Any info will be greatly appreciated.  pg

KFC in the Big C on hwy 11 would be closer to the train station, or continuing the fast food theme McDonalds at Star Avenue beside Arcade bus station.

Thanks for that info....I was hoping to find one around the moat (if possible) or on the way from there to the train station. However, if that turns out to be the only one nearby, I will definitely get the taxi to go by there on the way. pg

well there is a KFC on the northern side of the moat (manee Nopparat Rd) by Icon Computer Plaza

That one sounds more like where we'll be....could you please give more detail? We'll be at the Chang Puak Gate area prior to heading to the train. Would that be the computer shops just around the corner from CM Ram on the north side of the moat? Thanks, pg

Just do a search on Google Maps.  Every Single KFC will pop up with a map pin.  GM is richly detailed with practically any location you’re looking for.  One of the most amazing tools Google has!

Just to show you, im attaching a snapshot of my search for “kfc”.  Everybody should download the Google Map app for their phone or tablet.  Easy to search, and then navigate to by car, ride share, or by foot.

Makes finding places and getting to them super easy, anywhere in the world!

Note about this snapshot:  there are a lot more kfc’s than shown here.  If you zoom in on a particular area, say the old city, and click the button “search this area” more will pop up.

What about delivery ?

Just type in "food delivery" in Google Maps ?  Better yet, use FoodPanda.com.  I think they deliver for KFC here in Chinag Mai.  Ive used FoodPanda a few times and it's pretty good.  Deliveries take about 30 minutes and food arrives HOT.  I think they don't even charge a delivery fee (paid for by the restaurant), or if they do it was so small I didn't notice. ?

Look for stretches of the road that have no road-kill with puddles of grease near the borders.
