dsfbrit
I have 10 old pickup tyres I was using to 'pad out' a water tank in the ground that I no longer need. Where can I legally dispose of them in Pattaya ? I don't mind paying for them to be dumped legally. Thanks for your help. Anythingleft?
Try leaving a couple by your bin and see how long it takes for the tinkers to remove them for you, probably not long and they will get recycled...Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
Swiss1960
Yes, astonishing how things disappear from in front of the house... If too big for a hand pushed cart, all those sad and poor looking people seem to have easy access to a pick-up truck seemingly waiting only minutes away...Sent from my CPH1821 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
cornishcarlos
Or you could recycle them yourself, plenty of cool things to use them for..
KittenKong
For those who live in a neighbourhood that has no tinkers, I suspect that any new tyre dealer will take them from you. They may even pay you for them or collect them for free.

dsfbrit
Thanks for all the replies. More than I expected and all useful. I didn't think they had any value and the bin men around here seem to reject quite a lot of stuff when it suits them. I thought there may be a recycling plant somewhere in the Pattaya/Chonburi area. I will try my local tyre company and see if they will take them if I offer to pay a few hundred baht. I wonder what they do with all their old tyres - landfill I expect. Thanks for your help.
