Hi, would love to hear from local about some hidden gems around. Im comming soon for 3 nights, rented car so can move around.

I did phuket in car before like freedom beach, big budda etc. May b something worth to drive bit out of phuket? Was thinking Phan Ngna national park? Worth my time.? Been in Krabi, Khao Sok and Vietnam similar views.

May b some beach like freedom b. Not many ppl and clean.

In 2007 I visited a "monkey temple" in  Phang-Nga -  Wat Suwannakuha

At the time it was absolutely lovely but it may have changed, as sadly Phuket has. Although, if you've only got 3 nights, it'll take a day out of your trip.

Most people enjoy a sunset a Kata Beach.

As long as it's from the sand. That water is fed by two filthy klongs on the north and south. When that water gets all foamy and brown it's quite a site and smell. Kata noi much better but who knows how far a turd can float.
