He starts every debate with some variation how stupid you are and then endless use of labels. " good on ya SM , in the past i also was often on the vacation train. As time went by I accepted that this forum has some good uses, and info, but what could have been enjoyable interactions and sharing of opinions was just not gonna happen . It is true, there are some pretty angry and abusive posters ... easiest to spot by their calling others idiots, of course. Pretty funny, that ! Then they want to debate ! Even funnier . When it comes to the experimental shots and dangerous drugs... i leave that up to others . Those who want to take em , let em knock themselves out . I like to think that us non vaxxed are more like a support team for each other hahaha . All still healthy, and as far as i know nobody even got sick ! -

Why haven't you learned Thai even after several years as an expat in Thailand?
Thanks for that get out. I first came to Thailand well over 30 years ago, just for the fun on my holidays. Almost everyone I came in contact with spoke very reasonable English, so no real necessity to learn Thai. When I moved here on retirement, my wife and many of the family speak English. Where was my incentive to learn Thai? Most Thai eateries make it very easy to order food and drink, so I won't starve. If I should need to travel on my own, there are many Thai people willing to help should the need arise, and its a bit late in the day now, so I won't bother now. -

That is shocking! But weirdly I stopped using them after they wouldn't accept my cards for payment. I also find their offerings inferior to Grab. I only use Line if it's a special place that isn't on another app. Yes of course Hungry Now was fantastic but they were clearly trying to buy market share and it didn't work. Is there any reason to check out Shopee? About Grab discounts simply join their premium "club" very inexpensively and get a 20 percent discount one per day up to 80 baht pretty much year round except for holidays and peak periods. Also discounts on all deliveries. The code for this is: EXPAT20 Sometimes you have to work a bit to learn the codes though but if you're in the club always try EXPAT20.
