I recommend you invest in a trip to Bangkok and see this excellent doctor, US trained:

http://www.sukumvithospital.com/en_doctorprofile.php?id=32

He can also be seen at Bangkok Chrisitan hospital

https://www.bch.in.th/doctor-th/doctor-th-28/item/398-ent12.html

You will not find the same level on Pattaya itself...and can be tricky seekinmg a second opinion at the same hospital.

At a guess I would say age = in his  50's.

He is a professor at Chula medical school and Vice President of the ASEAN
Federation of Cardiology. Also the head of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Thailand Chapter.  Regularly publishes and is I think very well up to date.

He did a fellowship at UCLA.

Good morning..

Seems difficult to get an appointment but will still insist.. The cardiology service seems to have no english speaking person giving appointment... and says that to have an appointment you must have an hospital registration number but unable to give me one or indicate the service with which I can register..

Will try monday as maybe administration is closed during the week end (christian hospital)

Thanks anyway and have a nice week end

At Bkk Christian an appojntment is nto required, it is first come, first serve and you register to get hospital number on arrival. but need to ascertain when he is there and be sure it is him, as there is another cardiologist there with similar first name.

Other TV members have been able to get appointments at Sukhumvit Hospital with no difficulty.

I saw this Dr. a few months ago at BCH also and he is nothing short of amazing even having his nurse go get a model of the heart and spending much time with me showing me in detail things . The first time I saw him many years ago when I asked for echocardiogram from him I was much surprised when I went into the part of hospital to have it done and he actually showed up and did it himself . I just want to thank Sheryl for years ago referring me to him and also say how grateful I am to have such a talent as this cardiologist available to see so easily and cheap it's nothing short of remarkable remarkable remarkable . I would also very much suggest to the person who posted this question to make sure they go to Bangkok and see him and not waste time and money at hospital in Pattaya if your health is important to you . I watch so many in Pattaya use that Bangkok Pattaya Hospital because it's close to them and convenient missing the stunning talent in Bangkok so close to them also but just a little farther . Don't be lazy and use Bangkok Pattaya Hospital if you live in that area when it comes to the main health concerns and it really matters, get yourself to Bangkok as the Dr. not the hospital is the real key to much here and Pattaya for the most part does not have the exceptional talent when it comes to medical specialists and the latest cutting edge equipment . With that said there are a few exceptions like with Dr. Anna for skin cancer checks and issues ( another spot on suggestion by Sheryl ) but for most other issues as important as heart get to Bangkok where the real talent usually is .
