i wonder where the pick up location is for minivans heading for pattaya every hour ?

The BKK-Pataya buses leave Ekamai about every 20 mins. As long as you don't get the milk run bus that goes via Chonburi they travel on the expressway/motorway so will get there just as quick as a minivan? 

 

Mini vans used to be Victory Monument but now.. with so called crackdowns I don't know.

no, i need to know before i go to bkk,

the big buses are far and away too un-ergonomic for tall people with a messed up back.

is victory monument= king rama vi monument next to silom MRT station ?

and while i'm at it, is MRT station the skytrain/subway swap ?
