I think the nearest Skytrain (BTS) stop is now  "Samrong"  then  "Bearing"  and then "Barng Na"

if they don't goto "Barng Na" then they probably go to "Morchit"  which has BTS connections too.

big buses are not compliant with being 2 meters and a bad back

or the station almost opposite the road that goes to jomtien ?

yes, i looked but could not make it out which gas station in question

no matter  how i scrolled. (and i had to scroll to get an idea where i was, i barely remember some names)

i can not see 'bangchak' on the map,

what branch is the gas station ?

and how far from pattaya klang ? and is it towards tai or nua ?

and is it on the beach side or dark side ?

i just returned to pattaya after 3 years in exile, and i can barely recognize pattaya

Pattaya Klang to your left. The petrol station is at the footbridge you can see in front of you.

You can only just see the footbridge in that photo. In actual fact it's only about 100 metres north from the junction.

The gas station is right by it. As is the green and gold mosque. On the west side of Sukhumvit.

thanks, i remember that gas station now that you mention it,

the road structure in north pattaya at sukumvit looked scary tho,

i reckon its easy to end up on the tollway unintentionally.

is there somewhere in south pattaya i can jump on ?

As aforementioned, the other minibus outside the Family Mart on Pattaya Tai and perhaps one on Thappraya (opposite Mueang Pattaya 8 School which is opposite Wat Chai Mongkhon).

Take a baht bus to Jomtien. Get off at the FoodMart on Thappraya. Airport bus leaves the top of every hour from 07:00-21:00. About ฿122 each way. I have taken it dozens of times at an average 1:40hr to Swampy. The Airport Link Skytrain is on bottom floor of the airport. It intersectes with the Suk Skytrain and the subway/metro. Safer and usually quicker than van.
