Motor Cycle Licence Test

Featured Replies

I am told that the test for getting a motorcycle or car driving licence, for everyone who requires such (Thai Nationals and Foreigners), changed recently and I am unable to find any reference to the current test requirement.

So if it has changed, can someone please direct me to the relevant website.   All the info I have come up with relates to the requirement pre-2018.

Many thanks

I am not aware that during this or the previous year there have been significant changes.

The theory test is 45 out of 50 questions correct since years.

Temporary license issued for two years since 2015.

Practical driving test is the usual joke, riding around the office yard.

Biggest hurdle for many is going over the elevated concrete strip (15 cm wide and 5 m long) without putting down feet.

There has been a minor change in paperwork, new form for the health certificate.

Or can you give the slightest idea what change you were told about?

Just told that test was all theory and more difficult.  The requirement for practical had been discontinued.

Maybe a case of 'misinformation'.

Thank you  for your reply.

This is so absurd that I better wait for another poster to reply.

For me it's just complete rubbish or I must have had a big blackout.

Theory test "more difficult", raising to 45 out of 50 (90%) is many years ago. Can't tell exactly.
