Drugs cops smile as 25 million baht seized after arrest of southern Thai drug kingpin

Smiling police proudly showed off the haul of cash and gold seized from a man they say is a big southern Thailand drug lord.

 

Arrested was Pramin who is better known as Kochin Totemthee, 42. A drug dealer called Boss Paenchum, 25 was also apprehended.

 

Deputy secretary of the Narcotics Control Board Wichai Chaimongkhon and Region 9 deputy police chief Daoloi Meuandech showed off the haul of watches, gold and cash that along with three cars came to 25 million baht seized.

 

The arrests were made in Chantaburi in Thailand's east following the seizure of hundreds of thousands of Ya Ba tablets in several cases last October. 

 

Wichai said that Kochin was a big drug operator in the south of Thailand.

What can u say the big boys have already taken they share.the others will take a smaller share.then the press know about it and pic,s taken.i also wonder why every bit of cash and whatever was in one place.that does seem strange.i thought they would be clever and make sure that kind of money and things were hard to get too

Well yes, but maybe he thought he had enough 'protection' so that the active part of the RTP wouldn't be able to get near his house.

Good work!  One down, with 24 minions, and so many more to go, but at

least this is a start. Does not bother me a bit if the local cops get the cars

and bikes to keep. Probably some of the money and gold as well good

for them..
