Hi

Does someone have some experience in growing cocoa trees?

I live now in Loei and have some space in the shade of rubber trees. I found an article in Thai about growing cocoa trees mixed with coconut palm oil and rubber trees.

if going in that space then run irrigation to the cocoa trees. They do like a bit of sun once older, make sure not complete shade, you can get saplings 15-20 baht, they are fragile when young, with slow flushes, but keep them moist they will be hardier in 6-8 months.

no flooding, they will get root rot
