Police on Saturday arrested three Nigerian men and a Thai woman in separate drug busts which resulted in the seizure of more than 100 grams of cocaine.

In the first case, officials at Suvarnabhumi airport  intercepted a package sent from Brazil which was found to contain 75 grams of cocaine hidden inside a water flask, INN reported.

Narcotics officers then disguised themselves as delivery men and attempted to the deliver the package to its intended recipient at a condo in Soi Raewadee.

At the address police arrested Abuchi Bona Nzediegwu, 40, when he came to collect the package.

Nzediegwu then cooperated with police and gave them information which resulted in the arrest of Azubuike Emmanuel Obute, 34, who was said to be the intended recipient of the drugs.

In the second case, police seized 38.22 grams of cocaine at an apartment in Bang Plee, Samut Prakan and arrested a Nigerian man named Chinaka Chukwudi Augustine, 38, and a Thai woman Yanee Lamana, INN reported.

All suspects remain in custody as investigations into both cases continue.

INN also reported on the seizure of 300 grams of crystal methamphetamine or ice which was sent from Chiang Rai province destined for Israel.

Because the mentality of drug dealers is they think they will never get caught.

And, still! Why do they target black people? Because they are black, or because they are a more reliable source when it comes to the dealing and posession of illegal drugs?

Because they were the ones (in this case) caught holding the packets of illegal substances...

I love how some people play the racist card when caught redhanded.

Oh dear! I don´t know what you mean. I don´t mean to play any racist card. If you read my comments before, you would know that.
What I am doing is a question to all the people that always tries to defend the black people, so they finally can understand that they are one of the roots to illegal activities in this country.

Out with the pack, is my jargong.

Then I must apologise. I misunderstood your message. ?

Getting to the point where the Thais might as well just ban Nigerians as there are probably very few legit tourists amongst them...at least make them get a visa in Nigeria first with difficult requirements rather than this visa on arrival nonsense. Massive fail TAT and Immigration Service...pfft. It's getting to the point where it's comical that you auto-assume that any scan report is a Nigerian or West African.

this was stepped on so many times...new headline ''Nigerians busted with a white powder which may or may not contain cocaine''..

I have to ask myself once again....why are racist people so stupid?

Allow me to explain.....

If it were a Irishman, the people of similar hue would be quick to disassociate themselves, as being Australian/North Americans/British...whatever. Oh it's not us white Australians/North Americans etc...it's those Irish.

But yet, when it's a Nigerian, you write "black people".  Why is that?

This is why it appears that racists are so stupid. They don't appear to be able to differentiate. Therefore appearing to lack intelligence.

How many Malians, for instance, have you read about in these pages? Ever. Do you imagine that they are pleased that people like yourself denigrate them because of the colour of their skin? I write the "colour of their skin" because you do not state Nigerian(or even better perhaps the part of Nigeria from which they hail), but you write "black".

Something that you would never write if it were a white Irishman, for instance.

This demonstrates the ignorance of a typical racist, who might imagine that he is not. He doesn't even have the intelligence to realise that he is being a stupid racist.

Well done from the Thai Police, good work,. Keep on working hard and honestly to reduce these illegal poison,  sellers.

And once again JamJar, you are not seeing this from a clear perspective. This is a forum about Thailand, and I am of course firstly talking about black people in Thailand.

The reason why they are targetet and that we read som much about scams, call centers and drugs regarding them, is that they are the majority of foreigners in Thailand active in theese crimes.

Therefore it will not be racist when labeling the accused as black people, because they are mostly black when you read the news regarding this things. I Malians are here and reading this, I sincerely hope they are not getting angry at me for writing black people. I take them for beeing intelligent enough to get angry and take a step away from the people that making their race look bad in public eyes.

Here it´s the same when talking about muslims. Of course there is going to be good and bad muslims. The strange thing, though, is that the good muslims are always trying to defend there religion as non violent. That instead of dealing with the bad apples that destroys their reputation.

As a final comment. I do not know if you are a person of "the colour of skin" I am refferring to, but I do beleive that can be the reason you are blaming me as a racist, instead of concentrating your anger at the ones that are making you look bad. If I am wrong, I appologize.

I can see from your writings that you are not an 'educated' person. Perhaps because of that, you can be excused.

You state that I am not looking at it from a clear perspective, but what you actually mean is that I am not looking at it from your perspective.

Of course I do not, as I consider it somewhat beneath me.

Once again, you speak of black people in Thailand, as if all people of darker hue are considered the same.

Again, that is just your perspective. Otherwise, for whom are you speaking? The Thai people?

No, you are speaking for yourself and people like yourself who simply cannot raise your level of thinking above that. Do not saddle the Thai people with your ignorance.

Gullible people read a few headlines and cheer themselves to sleep, happy that it is not them or their kind this time around.

So the latest crackdown is on African romance scammers. Before then, perhaps on Chinese boiler rooms. Before then, ATM skimmers from Eastern Europe etc  Before that....

You get the point. There are criminals of every ilk there. White, black, brown, yellow... Call centre scams? I think the Brits, Americans and Australians had that covered. Drugs? If you think a few Nigerians are behind the drug smuggling operations in Thailand, you really are not the brightest star in the sky.

So we are back to Romance scams. Seems the Nigerians have that covered. But as aforementioned, no uproar when it's the Thais doing it to foreigners.

You appear to have totally ignored the shipment of Crystal Meth heading for Israel in the article. Why is that? Because it doesn't fit into your racist narrative?

Then the Muslims....that comment is so basely ignorant that it almost doesn't deserve a response.

I'm sure when a Catholic murders his wife, the first thing all Catholics do is to denounce violence and say it's against their religion..

The Muslims aren't all one entity....wow.

Get Real, a word of advice; sometimes it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt...

Just have one comment. Couldn´t arse myself to read all the BS you had on the plate this time. I mean I read it so many times before, so I guess it´s not much of a change.
However, The silence that is needed is only regarding your side. Fool is no longer a question for you. We just let it be like that, before I degrade you so much so I have to appolgize to the forum.

Sorry, forgot to mention. Regarding education. I have one Master and two bachelor. How about you, my dear friend that have to bring up education.
I am sure you are much higher. Professor?
