Abu Dhabi Report- 1 Year Non-Imm O Visa Marriage

Featured Replies

Abu Dhabi is a bit off the beaten path, and the embassy only accepts Emirati and UAE Resident Visa holders, but I thought I'd add this embassy report to the record in case it helps anyone. This was as of June 2018

Applied for a 1 Year Multiple Entry Non-Immigrant O Visa based on Marriage

Documents Required:

1. Application
2. Marriage Certificate
3. Thai House register
4. Wife's Thai ID
5. My Passport
6. My Emirates visa
7. Wife's Passport
8. Wife's Emirates Visa
9. My passport photo (1)
10. Airline ticket (round trip)

11. 700 Dirham (about 7,000 baht)

No bank or financial statement needed.

No appointment necessary, just showed up during regular hours, submitted my documents, and returned the next day to pick up the visa. Took 5 minutes.

By far the easiest and hassle free Visa to Thailand I've ever applied for.

I used to get tourist visas and eventually my non Imm O-A ( so called retirement visa) from the Thai consulate in Dubai. Always found them to be user friendly and hassle-free. Only used the Thai embassy in Abu Dhabi a couple of times, but found the consulate in Dubai  to be more accommodating.
