thequietman
Currently have 245/70-16 on Ranger but can get a good deal on 265/45/17 tyres (tires). Will they fit or hit against the wheel arches and front of the body when turning. The 265's are Bridgestone and for 4 cost is 13.000 baht not fitted which I think is a great price. Tyres are 2016 manufactured. I can get 4 MAXXIS 245's fitted for 10,000 baht. Any advice please. Many thanks.

Just Weird
Yes, they are much too big, 1" in diameter too big to be precise.
canthai55
245/70 = 172 MM sidewall height - 70% aspect ratio 265/45 = 120 MM sidewall height 406 mm + 172 = 578 mm 432 mm + 120 = 552 So the 17" wheel/tire combo is 25mm shorter but 20mm wider
transam
You will have to use a bit of bondo with that size tyre...

Yep, the "regular" size tyres are mass produced for the mass produced rides..

On 17" rims , of course.
