He knows what he is talking about, because it was his friends that were out protesting the last time there was freedom. Good thing they stopped themselves by stepping and putting an end to their own p

Only trouble is, we would all end up fighting each other over who gets the first swing to the point where he would walk away unscathed...

It would be easier to reach his mouth by jumping on the toads head.

His day is coming, can't repress everyone for so long without repercussion. His mother if buried would be turning over in her grave.

When a government stops Freedom of speech democracy is dead. That is the basic right of human being. Thailand well and truly has a dictatorship in place. Instead of going to Europe i suggest he make a slight detour with his 550 hangers on and go to North Korea. They both have something in common. Question what sort of government does the world think Thailand has? Has anybody heard one country talk about Thailand's government? Where is the King of twitters Donny Trump? Why has he got nothing to say? Or are they bluffed by that big LOS bullshit

Right! He will basically not allow any comments or campaigning that seriously damage his chances of 'winning' an 'election'. This is why some of us on these threads - including my good friends, Baboon and Samui Bodoh - are saying: 'Thai people: Stand up NOW and make your voices heard!'

Indeed. The problem is they aren't listening because they know best.

Perhaps it's best to read a book, watch a film or something and just let them get on with it...

It'll be a classic balls-up - most things in Thailand are, but it'll be *their* classic balls-up, so good luck to them in trying to sort it all out. Personally, I think this Prayuth character is dishonest and incompetent, and he should get his bottom kicked out. But then I remember that dishonest and incompetent describes most Thais so I doubt any of them would be any better.

C'est la vie. If ya can't take a joke, ya shouldn't have come... and trust me, there are some days I do wish I hadn't come here.
