Are Banks In Shopping Malls Opened On Saturdays?

Featured Replies

I'm planning to come down this weekend to open a bank a/c for condo purchase. Are banks open on Saturdays in the shopping malls? I'm flying off on Mon and my schedule is quite tight on that day.

Thanks

most are open, but it depends what you want to do; they are usually not operating a full service branch; I cannot comment whether you will be able to open your acount in one of those branches; most likely yes in say CentralWorld, but perhaps not in the micro branches of say Carrefour.

There are several banks in Siam Paragon and they are open Saturday and Sunday. I have opened an account with the Bangkok Bank on the weekend with no problems.

Bank of Ayudhya in Siam Paragon for sure - I opened an account there last Saturday afternoon. I think you'll find all the banks there are open on Saturdays.
