More than 10,000 runners have signed up for the 2018 Olympic Day Run at the Supachalasai National Stadium in central Bangkok on June 24. Charouck Arirachakaran, the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee of Thailand, said of those taking part 8,000 would compete in the 10-kilometre race (with a tracking chip) and 2,000 in the 5km race (no tracking chip) and there would be no age restrictions in either event. inThailand
The only reason they go is to get the free shirt and food. Eliminate these and about two people would participate. And what's the deal with immediately putting on the new shirt rather than running in the one you came in? cornishcarlos
I'm seeing more and more people out exercising in my local area. There is a new lake development, with a nice walking track, which seems to have encouraged them. When living in Phuket, I used to meet a lot of folk in the mornings, either walking, running or doing their Thai Chi stuff. Sure the bulk of the population don't exercise but a surprising amount do..... I'd be interested to know what exercise the 3 posters above do ?? 1
