Ayutthaya man ‘jumps to his death’ in mall

By The Nation

An Ayutthaya resident is suspected to have jumped to his death from the second floor of a shopping mall in Pathum Thani province on Friday night, police said.

Police were alerted at 9.30pm to the suspected suicide at a well-known shopping mall in the Rangsit area of Pathum Thani.

Arthit Suwannaratk, 40, from the Phachi district in Ayutthaya province, was rushed to Paolo Rangsit Hospital but he died in the hospital.

Police said the man was seen walking around on the second floor before he jumped shortly before the mall closed.

Low floor self esteem issue.

It never ceases to amaze me the sick humor we see here. This man needed help but got none RIP.

He needed to kill himself in his room. Many options available instead he chose to traumatize adults and children . Zero sympathy

How many this week?

here there be trolls ?

I can't see why anyone would like to be smashed into the concrete pavement.

I think hanging would be easier.

10 meters of rope

20 valium

1 bottle whiskey

That would be my choice of suicide.

Why the drugs? I'm sure the rope should be enough.

yep total waste of whisky.

Why not have dedicated platforms? Lots of abondened high rise around. Fence it off charge 3k baht for the jump plus extras for your funeral and have a monk to bless you. Next stage is watch a short video on why you hurt the people you leave behind.

Last stage is open your BYO bottle of whisky at the top and prepare to jump.

Easy peezy

Strange choice but it takes all sorts.  Pentobarbital would be mine.

You don't need that much rope. Most  people hang from door knobs . You only need to get on your knees and apply forward pressure untill you pass out and gravity and the slip knot will take care of the rest
