More arrests were made and more websites offering football betting were shut down on Wednesday.

In fact the only surprise was that star crime buster "Big Joke" Maj-Gen Surachet Hakpal was not leading the way.

The honor this time went to his superior at national HQ Pol General Chalermkiat Sriwarakhan who said that two sites in Pathum Thani and Bangkok were the subject of search warrants warrants.

A total of a dozen arrests of technicians and staff were arrested in the raids at Good Morning Apartment in Klong Luang 35 and Thanasree Condo in Jaransanitwong Soi 40.

Lots of electrical equipment such as computers and routers was taken into evidence.

Turn over on the sites raided amounted to 170 million baht.

Sites hit included Sbobet88, Supergoal88 and Vip08 that are part of the same umbrella organisation, reported Thai Rath.

I'm pretty sure one by me, had a shop with a yellow all over window poster with sport bet emblazoned on it.

Only recently opened but looks like it has shut now.

Probably is "undercover" for the time being........
