Stingrays and sawfish declared protected species

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has declared eight types of stingray and three types of sawfish as protected species.

 

As recommended by the National Wildlife Conservation and Protection Committee, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Gen Surasak Kanchanarat issued a ministerial announcement to include eight types of stingray and three types of sawfish in the list of protected species.

sure they can put that on the bucket list right behind plastics, road carnage, tatskin and the red bull fellow..the list is getting very very long..but as one member said to me yesterday ...''thais are trying isn't that enough''...

The price of those delicacies just went up.
